Hi, I'm Julia. I'm a multidisciplinary designer and researcher based in Washington, DC.
I am passionate about design that combines user-centered research with a critical perspective. I believe that good design provides solutions, but the best design helps us to find the right questions.
I received a Master's of Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in English Literature from Yale University.
I currently am the Head of Industrial Design at Lotus, a startup that makes accessible technology for people with disabilities. Past roles include:
